I am extremely proud to be able to serve the needs of this historically rich and diverse community since August 2010. I am particularly proud that I was able to be a part of the team that won the All America City Award for this truly deserving City! It was the highlight of my professional career and frankly left me a little wet-eyed during the presentation from our incredible contingent of volunteers.
For more information, click on the following link to see a summary of the City's winning presentation (as well as the other Cities that won) http://www.allamericacityaward.com/2014-all-america-cities-summaries/. One thing that has become very clear to me is that City residents have much to be proud of with an engaged Mayor and City Council, high quality public services and a wonderful Civic Center that welcomes all!
Please explore these web pages on the City's new site. We hope you will find them packed with useful information about our community. Our Facebook site is a dynamic location to learn what is going on, what we are thinking and an opportunity for you to comment on many matters.
