This two story residence is rectangular in plan with an addition to the west elevation. It has a wood shingle gable roof with a bracketed gable, wide bargeboards, exposed rafters and brackets. Shiplap siding and shingles in the upper gable ends sheath the exterior. A concrete block foundation supports the building. The windows are one over one double hung wood sash with a small upper sash on the ground floor and a projecting cornice. The hip roof porch has a central gable and a solid balustrade, with square paneled posts. There is corbelled chimney. The gable on the west elevation is an addition. The building faces east on South Third Street and is in good condition.
