This one and one half story residence is assymetrical in plan and has a multi-gable roof with shingles. Shiplap siding with cornerboards and a wide bargeboard sheath exterior. A brick foundation supports the building. The windows are one over one double hung wood sash with a projecting cornice and with a decorative motif. There are segmental arch windows on the north and east elevations. The front door has decorative panels and one light. A screen door with spindlework is still intact. The wrap around porch has turned posts, spindlework and brackets, and is set diagonally at the corner. There is an attached carriage house. The building faces north on the corner of Monmouth Street and South Fourth Street and is in excellent condition.
