This one and one half story residence is rectangular in plan and has a gable roof with decorative brackets and exposed rafters. The roof material is composition shingle. Weatherboard siding and decorative shingles on the gable ends sheath the exterior. A concrete foundation supports the building. The windows are on over one double hung wood sash with a divided upper sash and projecting cornice, aluminum sliders and fixed pane. There is a glassed-in front porch which extends the length of the front elevation. Several windows have been altered. The building faces south on "C" Street and is in good condition.
The building was occupied by Paul Robinson in the early 1930's. Robinson was a teacher at Independence High School for many years. The Howard family were residents in the 1950's.
