This is a two story residence that is rectangular in plan with shed style dormers symetrical on north and south elevations. It has a composition gable roof, with two chimneys, the windows are single and paired double hung one over one light with architrave moldings. The shed roofed porch has chamfered posts.
This house has been in the same family continuously including the current owner, and it represents four generations of one family.
The house was built by Cyrus Purvine and a Mr. Stansbury. Cyrus was a farmer and this was their townhouse.
There was old shrubbery that appears to be original landscaping. There is also a matching garage with stationary windows with six lights.
The house faces north and has concrete block foundation.
