April 15th (2nd-6th grades) Every Picture Tells a Story. One person will hold a card with an image of a famous painting and will describe it in detail to their partner, who hasn’t seen it. From the description only, the partner will make a painting of the image. When the picture is done, the two will be compared. Each participant will have a chance to both describe a painting and to paint. The final project will be the teacher describing a picture for everyone to paint.
Instructor: Robert Tomlinson. Artist, Arts Administrator and Teacher.
