The winter 2014 edition of the Heritage Herald is now available for download. This season's issue includes a history of the Cooper building; a history of Taylor's Drug Store and Lunch Counter; highlights of the Doctor's of Independence exhibit opening and the final installment of Mr. Eberly's volunteer profile.
The Heritage Museum Society is a non-profit organization that was developed to support the Independence Heritage Museum. The Society maintains a website highlighting the many activities, resources and opportunities available at the museum.
Now at the Independence Public Library! You can view many of the Heritage Museums artifacts at a special computer kiosk that is now in place at the library. The kiosk includes photos, oral histories and more. Come take a look.
