Applications for City Boards & Commissions can be downloaded below. Completed forms can be returned to City Hall in person, via regular mail, or by fax to 503.606.3282.
Applications are kept on file for one year. Even if you're not selected for a position, the City Council periodically appoints special task forces or committees and may draw from the applications on file to fill those vacancies. Independence City Boards and Commissions include:

- Hop & Heritage Festival Commission
- Library Board
- Parks & Recreation Board
- Planning Commission
- Tourism & Events Commission
- Traffic Safety Commission
- Western Days Commission
