To enhance the efficiency of city resources, the city of Independence has partnered with a new utility bill printer and mailer provider. This change will introduce a new bill layout, along with improved communication and detailed information on past utility consumption. This change does NOT affect paperless billing users.
The updated utility bill format will be effective starting June 1, 2024.
