The Independence Police Department recently celebrated a momentous occasion as it welcomed several new leaders into key roles during a swearing-in ceremony. Juventino “Tino” Banuelos was inaugurated as the new Chief of Police, bringing a wealth of experience and a dedication to fostering strong community relations.
Lyle Gilbert has been appointed as the new Lieutenant, while Dallas Cole, Thomas Fleming, and Trevor Williamson have stepped into their roles as Sergeants. Each of these leaders brings unique strengths and a shared vision for advancing the department’s mission.
