Multitudes of residents and visitors flocked to Riverview Park last Friday to welcome the first concert of our annual River’s Edge Summer Series event.
Under the banner of a summer sun, Eagle Eyes, an Eagle’s tribute band, rocked the night away with some stellar hits as attendees listened and danced to the music. Moreover, downtown Independence was buzzing with vibrancy as people stopped into our amazing local businesses. 
Join us this Friday, July 21, at 6:30 PM for the next installment in our Summer Series featuring CJ Mickens, a former American Idol contestant, who brings the latest and greatest pop hits, covering hits from Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Beyonce, Justin Beiber and more. Donations are always welcome.
