As of this writing, the local option levy to fund the library, museum, and parks has not passed, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to vote and make their voices heard. The city now faces important decisions about the future of these departments, which remain funded through June 30, 2025.
In the coming months, city leadership will develop options for how to proceed. Our commitment now, as always, is to ensure we’ve thoroughly explored every option and that our decision-making is as transparent as possible.
