Construction continues at 478 S. Main Street on a mixed-use project led by a local builder. Originally approved by the Historic Preservation Commission and city staff in 2022, the project will bring 14 apartment units and approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space to the heart of Independence.
The development also includes on-site parking and stormwater treatment, blending modern needs with thoughtful design. We look forward to seeing it open in the coming months.
