Spring has sprung in downtown Independence! Last week, our Public Works crew hung the vibrant flower baskets that brighten up every corner of downtown. These beautiful baskets are made possible thanks to the generous support from the Independence Downtown Association’s Walk of Hearts fundraiser, which raises funds specifically for beautifying our downtown. These flower baskets help create a welcoming, vibrant space where residents and visitors alike can enjoy the charm and spirit of Independence.
