You may see utility crews working around water meter boxes in town this week and next week. A contractor working on behalf of the city has begun vacuum excavating meter boxes to prepare for upcoming water meter replacements. This work is expected to continue through next week as meters are prepped. Crews will return on the 26th to begin meter installations. 
No water service impacts are expected during the vacuum excavation work.
