Beginning Monday, January 26, 2026, contractors will start Phase 3 of the cityโ€™s water meter replacement project.

As part of this phase, crews will be working in the general areas highlighted on the accompanying maps. These maps provide a visual overview of the neighborhoods where 3/4-inch water meters are scheduled for replacement during this phase of the project.

Water meters have an optimal life span of approximately 20 years, and many of the cityโ€™s meters have reached the end of that cycle. This multi-year effort ensures continued accuracy, reliability, and efficiency within the cityโ€™s water system.

Residents in the highlighted areas may notice contractors working in the right-of-way or near meter boxes. Temporary, minor disruptions may occur, and we appreciate your patience as this important infrastructure work moves forward.

Additional phases will continue as part of the cityโ€™s five-year water meter replacement program, with larger meters scheduled for replacement in future stages.
