The City Manager’s Office is responsible for ensuring that the city functions effectively and efficiently, using available resources to achieve the City Council’s vision for the community. The office provides leadership, coordination, and management for the city organization, as well as support for the City Council.
Apart from its core functions, the City Manager’s Office also coordinates elections, disseminates timely information to the community, and promotes engagement between residents and the city organization.
As the city manager of Independence, my primary focus is providing exceptional service to both residents and visitors. I place a high value on the welfare of our community and strive to uphold a safe, tidy, and enjoyable environment to the best of my ability. I take great pride in the efforts of the city staff and myself, demonstrating my commitment to caring for the city of Independence.
