Touch A Truck Event

The City of Independence and SEDCOR are teaming up to showcase a wide range of careers where cool vehicles meet real-life adventure. This interactive, family-friendly event invites kids to hop into the driver’s seat of fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, tractors, and more.
Not only can they explore these powerful machines, but they’ll also meet the people who operate them and get a behind-the-scenes look at careers in public safety, transportation, construction, and emergency services. It’s a unique opportunity to share your pride in what you do, inspire young minds, and make the day unforgettable for thousands of kids and families in the community!
