(Must be between 16-20 years old)

Reserve Police Officer

The Independence Police Department Reserve Officer Program is designed to augment the full-time officers of the Independence Police Department, enhance public  service, and provide participating individuals with the opportunity to work in law enforcement.

(Must be at least 21 years old & a high school graduate.)

Volunteer Positions

We welcome applications throughout the year, but positions are offered based on our current requirements. Please complete a volunteer application and submit it to the police department.
