Public Works Projects

This project is funded through a grant from the State of Oregon and will improve truck turning movements from Main Street to Polk Street and enhance pedestrian crossings at the intersection. Because the intersection does not meet current ODOT warrants for a signalized intersection, only mobility and safety improvements will be constructed as part of this project.

This project will replace existing undersized waterlines and extend the waterline south to the new Water Treatment Plant.

This project is funded through a grant by the federal government will design and construct the Chestnut Street crossing of the south fork of Ash Creek connecting existing neighborhoods to 13^th Street.

This project will update the 2015 Parks Master Plan and determine park infrastructure needs for the next 20 years.

This project will update the 2005 Stormwater Master Plan and determine stormwater infrastructure needs for the next 20 years.

This project will design and construct a new water intake, water treatment plant, pumping system and 2MG reservoir which will meet the city’s drinking water requirements for the next 20 years.

This project is funded through a grant by the State of Oregon and will address sewer pumping and transmission to the wastewater treatment plant needs for the next 20 years.

This project will provide an enhanced pedestrian crossing at the intersection of 5th Street and Monmouth Street.

This project will install a new screened headworks, piping between lagoons, aeration in the lagoons to improve treatment and water quality, and upgrade the existing disinfection system.
