Work continues on the Corvallis Road Waterline Project, with crews making steady progress on this important infrastructure investment. Over the past few weeks, contractors have surveyed the existing waterline, sawcut the trench route, completed utility locating and potholing activities, and begun installing the new waterline.

This project will replace undersized waterlines and extend service south to the city’s future Water Treatment Plant, helping improve long-term water reliability for Independence.
