The Independence Public Library is proud to debut our brand-new Book Bike, a mobile extension of the library designed to bring books, resources, and smiles straight to the community!
Made possible by a $5,000 grant from the Pacific Power Foundation and handcrafted by Portland-based Icicle Tricycles, this eye-catching ride is more than just a pretty frame. With electric-assist (e-assist) power, it’s ready to roll with ease into summer reading events, parks, and neighborhoods near you.
We look forward to connecting readers with stories one pedal at a time.
