An additional public hearing on a proposed supplemental budget for the city of Independence, for the current fiscal year, will be held at City Hall (555 S. Main St). The hearing will take place on June 23, 2026 at 6:30 PM. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the supplemental budget with interested persons.
