Fantastic Update! Polk County’s Safe Routes to School project is now finished, and the road is open. This initiative, funded by a Safe Routes to School grant, includes new bicycle lanes and sidewalks along Hoffman Road and Gun Club Road, as well as an upgraded pedestrian crossing at the Marigold Road and Gun Club Road intersection. This improvement enhances safety for students traveling to and from school.
We’re excited to see these changes make a positive impact on our community and ensure a safer environment for our children.
