Spring has officially sprung in downtown Independence! Earlier this week, our Public Works crew hung the vibrant flower baskets that brighten streets and sidewalks throughout downtown.

These beautiful baskets are made possible through the generous support of the Independence Downtown Association and its Walk of Hearts fundraiser, which helps support beautification efforts in the heart of our community.

The colorful blooms help create the welcoming, vibrant downtown atmosphere that residents and visitors enjoy all season long.
