Please include the below items in your building application:
- A completed application form.
- A site plan drawn to scale.
- Two (2) sets of building plans for residential or three (3) sets of building plans for commercial.
- Any engineering, truss, or other applicable information.
Please allow at least two (2) to three (3) weeks for plan review for residential permits and at least three (3) to four (4) weeks for commercial permits. Once plans are submitted they are logged and routed to our building official for review. They are then forward to our engineering and planning department for review. Once each department has performed their reviews and concerns are addressed the plans are approved and given to our Finance Department. Our Finance Department will review and call to say your permits are ready and what fees are owed. Construction can begin after the permit(s) is/are issued and all fees have been paid. (Including any additional fees from plan review, system development charges, water meter, and/or school tax fees).
